Kathie Dearing

Kathie Dearing, daughter of the late Winfred Dearing and Irene Klein Dearing, was born on Monday, January 31, 1955 in Campbell, MO and departed this life on Saturday, November 6, 2021 at NHC in Kennett at the age of 66 years, 9 months and 6 days. Kathie Dearing had worked at Parker-Hannifin in Kennett and attended the Calvary General Baptist Church in Kennett. Survivors include daughters, Alicia Morris & her husband, Paul of Kennett, Tosha Brewer & her husband, Jeff of Jonesboro; step-son, Chris Jones of Brookland, AR; grandchildren, Krista Morris, Tylar Jones, Clay Jones, Jacob Morris, B. J. Sutton, Blake Sutton, Caitlyn Boyette; step-grandchildren, Dylan Brewer & Bethany Evans; great-granddaughter, Stella Evans; brothers; Grover Dearing & his wife, Terri of Kennett, Donald Dearing & his wife, Evelyn of Imperial, MO; sister, Kay Varner & her husband, Donnie of Kennett; other relatives and many friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Walter Dearing. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, November 10, 2021, 2:00 p.m., at the Powell Funeral Chapel in Kennett with Reverend Chris Kennedy officiating. Visitation will begin there at 12:00 p.m. Burial will be in the Stanfield Cemetery in Clarkton. Serving as pallbearers will be Chad Varner, Timmy Varner, Jerry Varner, Rick Dearing, Sammy Crawford, Billy Holmes. Honorary pallbearer will be Philip Brewer. Powell Funeral & Cremation Services, Kennett is in charge of arrangements.
