Julius Helton

Julius Helton, son of the late Ivie and Lilian Helton, was born on Friday, October 29, 1937, in Kennett, Missouri and departed this life on Saturday, October 25, 2025, at NHC of Kennett at the age of 87 years 11 months and 27 days.

Julius was a retired employee of Emerson Electric after many years of service.  He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend.

Survivors include his wife, Ellen Kennedy Helton of their home in Senath; his two daughters, Sharon Cothran & husband, Robert of Higden, Arkansas & Julie Hanners of Kennett, Missouri; his sister, Cathy Helton Higgins of Kansas City, Missouri; three grandchildren, Christina Damron & husband, Jody of Kennett, Missouri, April Helton of Malden, Missouri, Dustin Baker of Higden, Arkansas; step-grandchildren, Jeremy Folkes of Pocahontas, Arkansas & Nikki Folkes of Kennett, Missouri, eight great-grandchildren, four great-great-grandchildren, other relatives and many friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his son, Rickey Delane Helton, two brothers and three sisters.

Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, October 28, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. at Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Kennett with Pastor Wayland Tom officiating.
