It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Joshua Lee Finley, who departed this life on February 10th at the age of 47 years 25 days. In the arms of his wife with love, Josh left behind a legacy of kindness, strength, and compassion that will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.Born on Tuesday, January 16, 1979, in Kennett Missouri, Josh grew up with a love for sports, spending time with his family and spent his life believing in his faith with God. Known for his friendly demeanor, humor, and ability to empathize with people. Josh touched everyone’s life with gentle warmth and kindness. Josh departed this life on Tuesday, February 10, 2026, at his home.Josh is survived by his wife Christina Finley, his daughter Tajana Wilbourn, stepson Preston Holmes, brother Jerome Finley, and grandson A’yiimic WilburnHe is preceded in death by both parents Roberta Finley and Johnny Hendrix, two brothers Jason and Jonas Finley, his grandparents, several beloved Aunts and Uncles and nephews and nieces.Joshua will be dearly missed but never forgotten his spirit continues to inspire love, laughter, and grace in all who were fortunate enough to know him.Funeral service will be held on Friday, February 20, 2026, at 12:00 p.m. at the Powell Funeral Chapel in Kennett.
