Joseph Wayne Bobbitt, Jr.

Joseph Wayne Bobbitt, Jr., son of the late Joseph Wayne Bobbitt, Sr. and Emogene Mealer Bobbitt, was born on Thursday, May 7, 1959, in St. Louis, MO and departed this life on Thursday, March 20, 2025, at St. Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro at the age of 65 years 10 months 13 days. Joseph Wayne Bobbitt, Jr. was a loving son, father, grandfather, brother and friend. He had a special love of music and was a gifted guitar player. His survivors include two daughters, Katrina Keeling & husband, Wade of Paragould, AR, Shannon Williams of St. Louis, MO; eight sisters, Sherry Hardy of New Blaine, AR, Donna Adams of Savannah, GA, Darla Brooks of Kennett, Joyce McGuire of Viburnum, MO, Vicki Creg of Dexter, MO, Frannie Evans, Jeanne Evans & Brenda Stockton, all of Kennett, five grandchildren, other relatives and many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, David Tallent and a sister, Sandy McMahon. Memorial service will be held on Thursday, March 27, 2025, at 6:00 p.m. at the Powell Funeral Chapel in Kennett. Visitation will begin at 5:00 p.m. and continue until time of service. Powell Funeral & Cremation Services, Kennett is in charge of arrangements.
