Johnnie Fry Metcalf

Johnnie Lynn "Fry" Metcalf, son of the late Thomas Metcalf and Etta Faye Hackworth Metcalf, was born on Sunday, December 26, 1965, in Kennett and departed this life on Friday, February 2, 2024, at his residence in Hornersville. Survivors include his son, Michael McDonald; long-time friend, Theresa Taylor of Hornersville; caregiver, Sage Phillips of Hornersville, other relatives and many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, son, Calvin Lewis, twin-brother, Ronnie Wynn Metcalf and sister, Teresa Maynor. Memorial Service will be held on Monday, February 12, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. at Hornersville Baptist Church. Powell Funeral & Cremation Services, Kennett is in charge of arrangements.
