Joe Barton, son of the late Robert Barton and Patsy Jo Myers Barton, was born on Wednesday, December 6, 1967, in Kennett and departed this life on Monday, July 21, 2025, at National Healthcare in Kennett at the age of 57 years 7 months 15 day. Joe was a loving father, grandfather, brother and friend. Survivors include his longtime companion, Mary Mann of Kennett; three sons, Joseph Flood of Cape Girardeau, Mark Flood of Kennett, & Joshua Morris of Kennett; daughter, Laura Rojas & husband, Luis of Kennett; two brothers, Bobby Barton & Tommy Barton; five sisters, Betty Duncan, Shirley Duncan, Vickie Allen, Tammy Wilburn & Regina Wilburn, ten grandchildren, other relatives and many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert & Patsy Barton and five brothers, Paul, Everett, Monroe, Randy and baby boy Barton. Memorial service will be held at a later date. Powell Funeral & Cremation Services, Kennett is in charge of arrangements.
