Joanna Marie Putney

Joanna Marie Putney, daughter of the late Joseph M. Freel and Virginia K. Ogle Freel, was born on Friday, June 18, 1943, in La Porte, IN and departed this life on Thursday, January 9, 2025, at the Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center in Poplar Bluff at the age of 81 years 6 months 22 days. Joanna was a loving daughter, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. Joanna's family was the center of her life. She enjoyed spending time with them. She was united in marriage to William A. Putney. He preceded her in death on June 3, 2016. in addition to her husband, she was preceded by her parents, Joseph & Virginia Ogle Freel, three sisters, Madelynn Amundsen, Judy Davis, Rita Freel, three grandchildren and one nephew. Her survivors include three sons, Roy Moore & his wife, Joyce, Ronald Crawford & William Carpenter & his wife, Candice; four daughters, Tammy Yeager, Amy Jo Beadle & her husband, Robert, Kimberly Crawford, & Christina Freel & Leeman Riddle, twenty-four grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. There will be no services. Powell Funeral & Cremation Services, Kennett is in charge of arrangements.
