Joan Crawford Odom, daughter of the late Billy Edward Crawford and Opal Irene Crawford, was born on Monday, August 24, 1959, in Kennett and departed this life on Saturday, June 4, 2022, at Arkansas Methodist Medical Center in Paragould at the age of 62 years, 9 months and 11 days. Joan was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend. In Kennett, MO, she was united in marriage to James Daniel Odom, Sr. He preceded her in death on August 22, 2020. Survivors include sons, William Emery of Waldenburg, AR, James Odom, Jr. of Kennett, Jerry Odom of Kennett; grandchildren, Jerrica Emery, William Emery, Jasmine Odom, Brayden Odom; great-grandchildren, Levi Kerbyson, Trevor Glover, other relatives and many friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, James Daniel Odom, Sr., daughter, Terri Odom, 4 brothers and 2 sisters. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 7, 2022, 1:00 p.m. at Powell Funeral Chapel in Kennett. Powell Funeral & Cremation Services, Kennett is in charge of arrangements.
