Jo Ann Utley, daughter of the late Arvel Estes and Millicent Davis Estes, was born on Tuesday, January 31, 1961, in Kennett and departed this life on Tuesday, June 14, 2022, at the Pemiscot Memorial Hospital in Hayti at the age of 61 years, 4 months and 14 days. Survivors include husband, Thomas Utley of the home in Kennett; son, Shawn Utley of Kennett; daughter, April Brown & her husband, Michael of Kennett; grandchildren, Haley Jackson, Felicia Driggett, Allison Utley, Jason Utley; 6 great-grandchildren; brothers, Matt Estes of Kennett, Vernon Estes of South Carolina, William Utley & his wife, Marge of Blytheville; sister, Virginia Childress of Campbell; other relatives and many friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Bo Estes. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, June 17, 2022, at 2:00 p.m. at Powell Funeral Chapel in Kennett with Reverend Terry Vaughn officiating. Visitation will begin at 12:00 p.m. Burial will be in Oak Ridge Cemetery in Kennett. Powell Funeral & Cremation Services in charge of arrangements.
