View Funeral Webcast Charles James "Jimmy Jim Jimbo" Baker, son of the late Charles David Baker and Shirley Robards Baker, was born on Friday, October 1, 1948, in Kennett and departed this life on Monday, August 8, 2022, at Pemiscot Memorial Hospital in Hayti at the age of 73 years, 10 months and 7 days. On January 12, 1996, in Farmington, he was united in marriage to Janet Campbell. Survivors include his wife, Jan Campbell Baker of the home in Kennett; daughter, Angi Ozbun & her husband, Gene of Paragould; sons, Scott Baker & his wife, Belinda of Jonesboro, Eric Fowler & his wife, Shawn of Ocean Springs, MS, Luke Fowler & his wife, Kelli of Kennett, John Michael Holmes of Hornersville; grandchildren, Michael Jones & his wife, Janie, Jennifer Weaver & her husband, Jeremy, Jessica Rivera & her husband, Ebby, Alex Baker & her husband, Kailan, Ashleigh Baker, Madelyn & Warren Fowler, Allison, Maylei, Natalei, Caden & Titus Fowler, Colton Holmes; great-grandchildren, Lilli, Xain & Dez Jones, Amelia & Babby Weaver, Addisyn Wyrick; great-great-grandchild, Clara Jones; brother, David Baker & his wife, Janet of Dexter; nephews, David Baker & his wife, Katie, James D. Holder & his wife, Lauren; other relatives and many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Virginia "Ginny" Baker. Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, August 11, 2022, at 2:00 p.m. at Powell Funeral Chapel in Kennett with Reverend Ron Wilcoxson officiating. Visitation will begin at 12:00 p.m. Burial will be in Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Kennett. Pallbearers will be James D. Holder, Caden Fowler, Ebby Rivera, Warren Fowler, Keith Dockins, Colton Holmes. Honorary Pallbearers will be members of The Usual Suspects Band, Gary Wilcoxson, Daryl Wilcoxson, Ken Williams, Dunk Carter, Wendell Crow.
