Jeweldean Laws, daughter of the late Robert P. Laws and Nellie Maye Myrcle Laws, was born on Friday, June 7, 1946 in Kennett, Missouri and departed this life on Friday, April 2, 2021 at Heritage Nursing Center in Kennett at the age of 74 years, 8 months and 25 days. Jeweldean Laws had worked in the health-care industry in Nashville prior to returning to Kennett. Survivors include brother, Stanley Phillip Laws of Poplar Bluff, Missouri; sister, Geraldine Laws Null of Kennett, Missouri; other relatives and many friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and a nephew, James Aaron Cato. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, April 8, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at Powell Funeral Chapel in Kennett. Visitation will begin there at 12:00 p.m. Burial will be in the Cardwell Cemetery in Cardwell. Powell Funeral & Cremation Services, Kennett is in charge of arrangements.
