Jethro McKinney, son of the late Alexander and Retha McKinney, was born on Thursday, December 14, 1944, in Arkadelphia, Arkansas and departed this life on Saturday, May 27, 2023, at his residence in Kennett at the age of 78 years, 5 months and 13 days. Survivors include his wife, Elutellia McKinney of Kennett; son, Antonia Wallace of Kennett; step-children, Terry Simmons of Jonesboro, Billy Simmons, Karen Sims, Arnice Brown, all of Kennett, James Whitfield of Evansville, IN, David Whitfield of Oregon, Danny Whitfield of Utah; several grandchildren, several great-grandchildren; three sisters, other relatives and many friends. Memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 3, 2023, at 1:00 p.m. at the Trinity Worship Center in Kennett. Powell Funeral & Cremation Services, Kennett is in charge of arrangements.
