Jesse Jones, Jr.

Jesse Jones, Jr., son of the late Jesse Jones, Sr. and Annestine Nelson, was born on Wednesday, September 28, 1965 in Hayti, Missouri and departed this life on Saturday, March 6, 2021 at his residence in Poplar Bluff, Missouri at the age of 55 years, 5 months, 8 days. He was a former resident of Kennett. Survivors include children, Jesse Jones, III, Shawn Jones, LaShay Jones, all of Michigan; brothers, Jimmy Nelson of Leavenworth, Kansas, James Lee Williams of Kennett, Frank Jones, Jr. of Wisconsin; sisters, John Anna Nelson of Kennett, Vernal Williams of Michigan, Donna Nelson, Diane Jones, Rose Thomas, all of Kennett; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and sisters, Joann Jones and Deneatha Lovelady. Memorial Service will be held at a later date. Powell Funeral & Cremation Services, Kennett is in charge of arrangements.
