Jerel Anthony

Jerel Vanta Anthony son of Mary Ann Anthony & Jerry Williams was born May 19, 1984, in Hayti MO.  He departed his life on November 21, 2025, at Heritage Care Center in St. Louis, Missouri at the age of 41 years, 6 months, 3 days.

Jerel enjoyed spending time with his family, rapping and making up lyrics to every song he could think of. He also enjoyed making memories by being recorded while singing and dancing. Jerel also enjoyed making others laugh when he was around family and friends.

He is survived by his lovely sister Chaintell Anthony-Pittman and brother in law Frank Pittman of Kennett, Mo., his beautiful three nieces; Janiya Pittman, Jakiya Pittman, Jalayiah Pittman, great niece; Karoee Rodgers, all of Kennett, Missouri, uncles; Jimmie Anthony (Frank Perry) of High Point, North Carolina, Ray Anthony of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, aunts; Denice Daniels (Reggie Daniels) of Kennett, Missouri, Loretta Moore, of St. Louis , Missouri, and a host of great aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

He is preceded in death by his dad; Jerry Williams, mom; Mary Ann Anthony; aunt Josphine Anthony, grandmothers; Martha Mae Bell, and Pauline Williams.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 29, 2025, 1:00 p.m. at the Greater Community Temple Church of God, 1120 Crawford Street, Kennett. Missouri. Visitation will begin at 11:00 a.m. and continue until the time of service. Burial will be in Oak Ridge Cemetery in Kennett.
