Jason Lee Finley

Jason Lee Finley was born September 30th,1976 to the late Walter Finley and Alberta Finley in Kennett MO. He departed this life January 26th, 2024, at St. Francis Hospital in Cape Girardeau, MO. He is preceded in death by 1 brother, Jonas Finely, 5 uncles, Curtis Lee Brown, Willie Brown, David Finely, Virgil Finley and Henry Finley. 3 aunts Brenda Finley, Precious Brown, and Queen Ola Swian, grandmother, Rosa Mae Brown and grandfather, Sammie Lee Brown . Jason confessed Christ at an early age. He attended the Slicer St. Church of Christ in Kennett, MO and Kennett High School. He enjoyed singing, dancing, gardening, and barbeques with friends and family. He would help anyone he could. He was also a foster parent. He leaves to cherish his memories, his wife, Terry Finley, 2 sons, Jason Finley (Baby Jay) of Grand Rapids, MI, Perry Clinton of Poplar Bluff, MO. 1 granddaughter, Carmen Finley of Grand Rapids, MI, 2 brothers Joshua Finley (Christina) of Cape Girardeau, MO, Jerome Finley (Rose) of Steele, MO, Very Special friend Shelia Hollywood, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, February 8, 2024, at 4:30 p.m. at the Community Temple Church, 1120 Crawford Street, Kennett. Powell Funeral & Cremation Services, Kennett is in charge of arrangements.
