Janette Hatchel

Janette Helms Hatchel, a resident of Kennett, departed this life on Sunday, October 12, 2025, at the Pemiscot Memorial Hospital in Hayti, Missouri at the age of 69 years. 

She will be greatly missed by her children; Kevin (Katrina) Robertson, Keith Robertson, William (Monica) Hatchel and Christy Hatchel, her mother; Clarencene Helms VanVuuren, stepfather; Maynard VanVuuren, sister; Melissa VanVuuren, brothers; Gleen (Denese) Boyett, Mark (India) Boyett, sisters Cheryl (Brent) Everett, Brandi (Brian) Jordan, grandchildren, Ashley (Michaela) Hatchel, Heaven (Heather) Handley, Dalton Handley, Nathan Parezo, Glenn Hatchel, Jacqualine Hatchel, Sami Ortega, Will (Katie) Jackson, Kaylee (Connor) Smith, five great grandchildren, Tristan Donner, Kaiden Handley, Avery Handley, Wyatt Parezo, Maverick Parezo, plus very special friends Kay, Glen and Glen Allen Teeter.

She is preceded in death by her devoted husband Billy Hatchel, father Gleen Boyett, and her most beloved granddaughter Kylie Robertson.

Memorial Service will be held at the Powell Funeral Chapel in Kennett on Thursday, October 16, 2025, at 5:00 pm.
