Janetta Carol Stain, daughter of the late Terry Gene Smith, Sr. and Mary Belle Mullins Smith, was born on Saturday, May 21, 1966, in Texas and departed this life on Wednesday, April 6, 2022, at her daughter's residence in Gobler at the age of 55 years, 10 months and 16 days. Survivors include husband, Ricky Stain of the home in Kennett; sons, Travis Smith of Piggott, Daniel Corzine of Clarksville, TN, Cordarell Lewis & his wife, Amanda of Kennett; daughters, Amber Stewart & her husband, Bobby of Gobler, Alaina Lewis & her husband, Joseph McCall of Kennett; 17 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; brother, Terry Gene Smith, Jr. of South Haven, MI; sisters, Lee Ann Smith of Paragould, Yvette M. Smith of South Haven, MI; other relatives and many friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and sisters, Athena M. Smith & Athena Lynn Smith. Memorial Services will be held on Sunday, April 10, 2022, at 2:00 p.m. at the Powell Funeral Chapel in Kennett. Powell Funeral & Cremation Services, Kennett is in charge of arrangements.
