Jan Kidwell

Jan Kidwell, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully at her residence in Kennett, Missouri, on November 10, 2025, after a brief illness. Born on May 12, 1961, in Chadbourn, North Carolina, Jan's life was marked by her unwavering devotion to her family and her friends.

Jan enjoyed making crafts, especially crocheting special items for her family members and friends, sharing her deep love through the careful, intricate work of her hands. She was dedicated to nurturing her family and created a warm and loving home where everyone felt cherished.

She is survived by her loving husband, Kenneth Kidwell, with whom she celebrated a beautiful marriage beginning on September 5, 2015. Jan was the proud mother of Sandra Saari of Charlotte, North Carolina; Danielle Sibert of Caruthersville, Missouri; Daniel Kidwell of Caruthersville, Missouri; and Cody Kidwell of Caruthersville, Missouri. Her legacy continues through her cherished 17 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren, each of whom brought immense joy to her life.

Jan is also survived by her sister, Stacey Barnett, of Colorado Springs, Colorado, who shared many fond memories with her.

She was preceded in death by her father, John Johnson; her mother, Minnie Kweon; her sons, David and Shannon; as well as two brothers and one sister.

Jane Kidwell will be remembered not only for her enduring love for her family but also for her generous spirit and creative talents. Her memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
