View Funeral Webcast James Jeffrey "BamBam" King, Jr., son of James Jeffrey King, Sr. and the late Veronica White King, was born on Wednesday, January 3, 1990 in Hayti and departed this life on Friday, June 9, 2023, at the Southgate Living Center in Caruthersville at the age of 33 years, 5 months and 6 days. Survivors include a son, Lynden Andrew King of Mt. Grove, Missouri; daughter, Nyla Mae King of Mt. Grove, Missouri; father, James King, Sr. & his wife, Deanna of Hayti; brothers, Jessie King of Chaffee, Bradley Chance King & Michael Emerson, Jr., both of Hayti, Chandler Newton & Gunner Newton, both of Caruthersville; sisters, Erika Lucy & her wife, Hailey, April King, Kelly Jo Leasure, LyzaBella Newton, all of Caruthersville; grandfathers, Bill King of Illinois, Dennis Fennell of Doniphan, Missouri; special relatives, Tracy Biggs & Clora Turpen, both of Caruthersville; nieces, Nadley Dorris, Mason Dorris; nephews, Jamarion Carter, Erik Lucy, other relatives and many friends. He was preceded in death by his mother, Veronica White King, grandmothers, Cora Mae Fennell & Margaret Kelly King and grandfather, Kenny McCoy. Funeral Service will be held on Monday, June 12, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. at the Powell Funeral Chapel in Kennett. Visitation will begin at 12:00 p.m. and continue until time of service. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery in Hayti. Serving as pallbearers will be Jamarion Carter, Mason Dorris, Chandler Newton, Little Gary King, Jr., Austin Cobb and Noah White.
