James Charles "Jim" Hess, son of the late Charles Joseph Hess and Carmene Drewing Hess, was born on Monday, June 1, 1959 in St. Louis, MO and departed this life on Monday, March 30, 2020 in Kennett at the age of 60 years, 9 months and 29 days. Jim, a resident of Kennett, formerly of St. Louis, had worked as a home construction laborer. Survivors include sons, Joshua Hess of St. Louis, Kyle Hess of St. Louis, and Nathan Hess of Troy, MO; 8 grandchildren; sisters, Gail Staggs of Kennett, Linda Parker of St. Louis; other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents. Memorial Service will be held at a later date. Powell Funeral & Cremation Services, Kennett is in charge of arrangements.
