James "Jim" Atchison

James "Jim" Atchison, a resident of Gobler, Missouri, was born on Sunday, March 29, 1959, in Blytheville, Arkansas to the late Robert and Virginia Atchison and departed this life on Wednesday, July 22, 2026, at his home at the age of 67 years 3 months 24 days.

Jim is survived by his wife of 17 years Ginger, daughters; Lindsay Williams, Addylynn Whitfield, Hayley Bailey, son; Jonathan Whitfield, bonus son Jeremy (Dawn) Fowler, sister; Phyllis (Brian) Atchison West, grandchildren; Mabli Jo & Kendall Jared Williams, nephews; Matt (Kathleen) Vuletich, Trevor Hawkins, Nieces; Robyn (Robbie) Weiss, Brooke Chism, brother in laws; Chris (Melissa) Young, Timothy (Madison) Young, and a host of other family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents, a son; Jared Shaneyfelt, a brother; Danny Atchison, and a sister, Janet Atchison Hawkins.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, July 26, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. at the Powell Funeral Chapel in Kennett with Mr. James Powell Officiating. Visitation will begin at 12:00 p.m. and continue until the time of service.  Burial will follow in Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Kennett.
