Henry Eugene Keown

Henry Eugene Keown, son of the late James W. Keown and Alpha Parker Keown, was born on Friday, November 21, 1947 in Pemiscot County, MO and departed this life on Saturday, June 20, 2020 at NHC in Kennett at the age of 72 years, 6 months and 29 days. He was loved and adored by all who knew him. He was a fun loving guy who enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his sisters. He loved music and dancing and had the best sense of humor. His smile was contagious and lit up every room he entered. Without a doubt Henry's new assignment in Heaven will be the door greeter because no one could greet you with a smile and hand shake like him. Henry is survived by two sisters, Erma Carnell and her husband, Phil and Patricia Perkins, all of Kennett; one special "Payee," LaDawn Carnell of Kennett; sister-in-law, Belinda Nall and a host of nieces and nephews. Henry was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Leroy Nall, one brother-in-law, Gimpy Perkins, and three nephews, Shane Carnell, Donnie Burgess, and David Nall. Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, June 28, 2020 at 3:00 p.m. at Powell Funeral Chapel, Kennett Powell Funeral & Cremation Services, Kennett is in charge of arrangements.
