Glenn Edwin Cannon, son of the late Glenn Edward Cannon and Hettie Withers Cannon, was born on Wednesday, June 23, 1937, in Patterson, AR and departed this life on Wednesday, April 20, 2022, at his residence in Caruth at the age of 84 years, 9 months and 28 days. Glenn was a farmer and long-time member of the Caruth Methodist Church. On December 23, 1961, he was united in marriage to Peggy Spencer. Survivors include his wife, Peggy Spencer Cannon of the home in Caruth; son, Mark Cannon & his wife, Phyllis of Caruth; daughter, Glenda Wyman & her husband, Mark of Brunswick, Maine; grandchildren, Dana Potts & her husband, Jeremy of Kennett, Kate Andreu & her husband, John of Maine, Sarah Capen & her husband, Mike of Maine; grandson, David Inman & his wife, Leeann of Hayti; brother, Tony Cannon & his wife, Mildred of Caruth; sisters, Judy Seiger of San Antonio, TX, Peggy Ross & her husband, Ron of Texas; also surviving are great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, other relatives and many friends. Graveside Services will be held on Friday, April 22, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. at Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Kennett with Reverend Kevin Carter officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Gardens in Kennett. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
