Gary Wayne King, son of Billy King and the late Margaret Kelley King, was born on Thursday, October 3, 1968, in Hayti and departed this life on Monday, November 11, 2024, at the West Tennessee Healthcare Dyersburg Hospital in Dyersburg at the age of 56 years 1 month 9 days. Survivors include daughters, Chelsea King & Jacob Brown of Ripley, TN, Cecilia Smith & her husband, James of Oklahoma, Trisha King of Kennett; father, Billy King of Vandalia, IL; brothers, James King of Hayti, Roger King of Caruthersville; sisters, Tammy King of Ripley, TN, Sharon Abbott & Regina King, both of Doniphan, MO, other relatives and many friends. He was preceded in death by his mother, son, Gary King, II, brothers, Randy & Danny King, sister, Carolyn King and a nephew, James King, Jr. "BamBam" Memorial service will be held on Tuesday, November 19, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. at the Powell Funeral Chapel in Kennett. Powell Funeral & Cremation Services, Kennett is in charge of arrangements.
