Freda Mccormick

Freda McCormick, daughter of the late Willard Killian and Tiny Tate Killian, was born on Friday, August 20, 1937, in Hornersville and departed this life on Tuesday, February 22, 2022, at St. Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro at the age of 84 years, 6 months and 2 days. She was a homemaker and member of the Southside Baptist Church in Kennett. Survivors include daughters, Donna Owen & Sandra Nelson, both of Kennett; 24 grandchildren, 55 great-grandchildren; brothers, Ed Killian of Paragould, Darrell Killian of Sikeston, Billy Joe Killian of Malden; sisters, Dorothy Nelson & Brenda Hopper, both of Kennett; other relatives and many friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; the father of her children, Woodrow McCormick; 3 sons, Jimmy, Ricky & Jeff McCormick; 3 daughters, Wanda Lawless, Linda & Brenda McCormick; grandson, Shane McCormick; 3 great-grandsons, Tanner McCormick, Ronnie Reeves, Richard McCaig, Jr.; 2 brothers and 4 sisters. Graveside Services will be held on Friday, March 4, 2022, at 2:00 p.m. at the Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Kennett with Reverend Johnny Bogle officiating. Powell Funeral & Cremation Services, Kennett is in charge of arrangements.
