Frances Marie Smith

Frances Marie Smith, daughter of the late Fred Angotti and Delpha Mansfield Angotti, was born on Thursday, March 25, 1943, in Hollywood, Missouri and departed this life on Saturday, December 28, 2024, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau at the age of 81 years 9 months 3 days. Frances was a homemaker and member of the Coon Island United Pentecostal Church in Neelyville. On November 19, 1965, in Senath, Missouri she was united in marriage to Rube Leroy Smith. He preceded her in death on August 7, 2024. Survivors include a son, Keith Smith of Poplar Bluff; two daughters, Teresa VanSickle of Kennett, Beverly Shepard & husband, Gary of Paragould, AR; granddaughter, Brittany Kinnison & husband, Trey of Southaven, MS; great-grandchildren, Gabrielle, Jonathan, & Jaxon Kinnison; sister, Rosalee Wrather of Blytheville, AR, other relatives and many friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, a son, Gary Leroy Smith, a grandson, Derek Smith, five brothers and six sisters. Memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 4, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. at the Powell Funeral Chapel in Kennett with Reverend Bobby Quinn officiating. Visitation will begin at 12:00 p.m. and continue until the time of service. Powell Funeral & Cremation Services, Kennett is in charge of arrangements.
