Flent Roy Swain, son of the late Leroy Swain, Sr. & Bertha Williams Swain, was born on Monday, May 15, 1944, in Newville, AL and departed this life on Tuesday, December 10, 2019, at NEA Hospital in Jonesboro. He was a farm laborer having worked for various area farmers. He was married to Queen Ola Swain. She preceded him in death on June 10, 2006. Survivors include 3 sisters, Otha Johnson of Newville, AL, Minnie Wright of Newark, New Jersey, Delia Swain of Newville, AL. Also surviving are other relatives and many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, & 3 brothers, Leroy Swain, Jr., Willie C. Swain & Esther Swain. Memorial Service will be held on Friday, December 13, 2019, 6:30 p.m., at the Powell Funeral Chapel, Kennett. Visitation will begin there at 6:00 p.m. Powell Funeral & Cremation Services, Kennett is in charge of arrangements.
