Everett Smart, son of Louise Smedley Smart and the late Everett Smart, Sr., was born on Thursday, August 28, 1947, in Gideon and departed this life on Saturday, January 14, 2023, at his residence in Clarkton at the age of 75 years, 4 months and 17 days. Survivors include his mother, Louise Smart of Clarkton; two sons, Billy Smart of Clarkton and Kevin Smart of Osage Beach, MO; granddaughter, Sunny Ray Smart; two brothers, Kevin Smart of Gideon and James Smart of Clarkton; two sisters, Beverly Reeves and Linda Collis, both of Clarkton, other relatives and many friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Everett Smart, Sr.; a brother, Virgil "Doc" Smart and a sister, Carolyn Smart Williams. No service is being planned at this time.
