Emma Louise Byrd, daughter of the late Woodrow Strawther and Theda Roach Strawther, was born on Thursday, August 3, 1939, in Campbell and departed this life on Tuesday, August 2, 2022, at her residence in Kennett at the age of 82 years, 11 months and 30 days. She was a homemaker and a member of First Christian Church in Kennett. She was united in marriage to Ben Byrd. He survives of the home in Kennett. Other survivors include sons, Ben Byrd, Jr. & his wife, Amy of Brentwood, TN, Steve Byrd & his wife, Lana of Kennett; grandchildren, Madison, Mallory, Christen, Braden & Ryan Byrd; brother, John Henry Stephens, other relatives and many friends. Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 6, 2022, 4:30-5:30 p.m. at the Powell Funeral Chapel in Kennett. Private burial will be in Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Kennett. Powell Funeral & Cremation Services, Kennett is in charge of arrangements.
