Ellen Dover, daughter of the late William "Bill" Dunaway and Hester Margaret Masterson Dunaway, was born on Saturday, June 13, 1959, in Kennett and departed this life on Monday, January 2, 2023, at St. Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro at the age of 63 years, 6 months and 20 days. Ellen Dover was a homemaker and member of the New Hope General Baptist Church in Holcomb. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. On February 23, 1979, in Piggott, AR she was united in marriage to Douglas Dover. Survivors include her husband, Douglas Dover of the home in Paragould; two daughters, Laura Gatlin & her husband, Troy of El Paso, TX and Lisa Dover of Paragould; 7 grandchildren; two sisters, Hazel Scott & her husband, Steve of Blytheville and Angela Self & her husband, Jason of Piggott, other relatives and many friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, William "Bill" Dunaway and Hester Margaret Masterson Dunaway and a sister, Alice Bass. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, January 5, 2023, at 5:00 p.m. at the Powell Funeral Chapel in Kennett. Visitation will begin there at 3:00 p.m. and continue until time of service. Powell Funeral & Cremation Services, Kennett is in charge of arrangements.
