Elizabeth Ann Hess

Elizabeth Ann Hess, daughter of Marvin and Geneva (Polly) Barnett, was born on Sunday, February 24, 1980, in Hayti, MO and departed this life on Tuesday, May 13, 2025, at Southgate Living Center in Caruthersville at the age of 45 years 2 months 19 days. Elizabeth Ann Hess was a loving daughter, mother, grandmother, and friend. Her survivors include her mother, Geneva Barnett of Adamsville, TN; her companion, Stephen Gilliam of Kennett; two sons, Shawn Hess of Kennett and Daniel Young of Kennett; two daughters, Mary Renfro of Tipton, TN and Tiffany Young of Kennett; six grandchildren, Bentley Hallmark, Charles Renfro, Jr., Tommy Renfro, Chevelle Renfro, Lucas Hess, Isabella Hess, other relatives and many friends. She was preceded in death by her father, Marvin Barnett and two brothers, Tommy Barnett and Kenneth Cook. Memorial service will be held at a later date. Powell Funeral & Cremation Services, Kennett is in charge of arrangements.
