Archer and Ottoleane Siler Archer, was born on Saturday, September 7, 1946 in Catron, MO and departed this life on Sunday, October 10, 2021 at the Pemiscot Memorial Hospital in Hayti at the age of 75 years, 1 month and 3 days. Carrol Drue Archer was a retired truck driver for Emerson Electric and a member of the Central Church of Christ in Caruthersville. On May 16, 1984 in Kennett, MO, he was united in marriage to Janet Nash. Survivors include his wife, Janet of the home in Bragg City; daughters, Deronda Clay & husband, Terry of Timmonsville, SC, Gail Tucker & Tommy Cook of Kennett, Bobbie Smith of Kennett; son, Jerry Stubblefield & wife, Tracey of Kennett; 11 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren; brothers, George Archer of Kennett, Finis Archer of Hayti; other relatives and many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; daughters, Lisa Brown & Tina Newell-Diffee; brothers, Raymond Archer & Charles Archer; sisters, Dora Brady, Ophelia Pierce, Mildred Archer, Doshie Archer, Amy Ruth Pierce, Mary Nell Kennedy, Jewel Pierce Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, October 14, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at the Powell Funeral Chapel in Kennett with Mr. Mike McDaniel officiating. Visitation will begin there at 12:00 p.m. Burial will be in the Oak Ridge Cemetery in Kennett. Pallbearers will be Hart Rivers, Jonathan Springs, Mike Archer, Greg Archer, Colby Newell, Adam Tucker Powell Funeral & Cremation Services, Kennett is in charge of arrangements.
