Dorothy Lee Verble, daughter of the late Arthur Clay Masters and Rosa Lee James Masters, was born on Thursday, July 17, 1947 in Kennett and departed this life on Saturday, March 27, 2021 at Pemiscot Memorial Hospital in Hayti at the age of 73 years, 8 months and 10 days. Dorothy Lee Verble was a homemaker. She was united in marriage to James Clifford Verble. He preceded her in death on July 29, 1985. Survivors include son, James Verble of Kennett; daughter, Kimberly Verble & David Fielder of Campbell; 5 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; brothers, Danny Masters of Mounds City, IL, Stevie Masters of Kennett; sisters, Cleta Woodard of Moore, OK, Shirley Austin of Campbell; Phyllis Morris of Paragould; other relatives and many friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, April 2, 2021, 2:00 p.m. at Powell Funeral Chapel in Kennett with Reverend Charles James officiating. Visitation will begin at 12:00 p.m. Friday and continue until time of service. Burial will be in the Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Kennett.
