Dorothy Curtis

Dorothy Ellen Curtis, daughter of the late Wendall Bristow and Dorothy Doggett Bristow, was born on Thursday, December 21, 1944, in Indianapolis, IN and departed this life on Monday, August 1, 2022, at NHC in Kennett at the age of 77 years, 7 months and 11 days. Dorothy was a homemaker and a resident of Bragg City. Survivors include husband, Roy Curtis of Bragg City; daughters, Lisa Smith of Blytheville, Paula Laxton and her husband, David of Bragg City; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brother, David Bristow of Senath; sisters, Hazel Bristow of St. Louis, Lori Hunt and Nona Stone, both of Paragould; other relatives and many friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Wanda Dearing. Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, August 6, 2022, at 2:00 p.m. at the Powell Funeral Chapel in Kennett. Visitation will begin there at 1:00 p.m. Powell Funeral & Cremation Services, Kennett is in charge of arrangements.
