Donnie Joe Wilhite, born on April 8, 1952, in Imboden, Arkansas, passed away peacefully on February 3, 2026, in Kennett, Missouri, leaving behind a legacy of love and devotion.
Donnie retired from Emerson Electric after more than thirty years of service, exemplifying commitment and hard work throughout his career. He will be remembered for his kindness and willingness to help others.
Donnie was a devoted father and grandfather who cherished spending time with his family, particularly his beloved grandchildren. His love for them was evident in every moment shared, as he found immense joy in their laughter and accomplishments. In addition to his family life, he had a profound passion for the outdoors, spending countless hours fishing whenever the opportunity arose.
He is survived by his son, Daniel Wilhite, and Daniel's fiancée, Brandy Rogers, of Atoka, Tennessee; his daughter, Sara West of Marmaduke, Arkansas; and his cherished grandchildren, Alaine Wilhite, Braylon Wilhite, Callie Wilhite, Braxton West, and Landon West.
Donnie was preceded in death by his father, Zack R. Wilhite, his mother, Annie Helen Tharpe Wilhite, and his siblings: Roy Wilhite, Jimmy Wilhite, Jackie Wilhite, and Sue Parsons.
As we remember Donnie Joe Wilhite, we celebrate a life well-lived and a heart that touched many. His spirit will remain in the memories he created and the love he shared with those fortunate enough to have known him.
Memorial service will be held at a later date.
