Denise Bowman

Karla "Denise" Bowman, daughter of Roxie Bowman and Carlyn (JoAnn) Bowman was born on Saturday December 1st, 1962, in Kennett, MO. She departed this life on Tuesday October 3rd, 2023, at the age of 60 years old while in the care of hospice in Cocoa Beach Florida. She graduated Kennett High School in 1981 and was a long-term resident of Kennett for most of her years until she moved to Cocoa Beach Florida in 2013. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She is survived by both her parents, son Matthew (Jennifer) Bowman, daughter Brittany Bowman, sister Leslie (Michael) Bowman-Hayes, her grandchildren; Matthew Bowman Jr., Makenzy Bowman, Mika Bowman, Brandon Mullen, Benjamin Turner, Aiden Turner, extended family, and all of those who became family to her throughout her life. The Bowman family will be hosting a celebration of life on Saturday December 2nd in Kennett Missouri at 206 Depot Street, from 2-5p.m. It is requested to dress in colorful clothing in consideration of Denises love for the Ron Jon Surf shop and all things beach related and the family invites guest to join them in wearing Ron Jon Surf Shop shirts.
