Demetra Hopper

Demetra Hopper, daughter of the late Johnny and Eugenia Hopper, was born on Wednesday, September 6, 1972, in Kennett and departed this life on Wednesday, October 14, 2020, at Piggott Community Hospital in Piggott, AR at the age of 48 years, 1 month and 8 days. Survivors include husband, Randy Edwards of Kennett; son, Austin Gamble of St. Louis; daughters, Maci Gamble of Kennett, Kristin Gamble of St. Louis; brothers, Brock Hopper, Johnny Hopper, Jeff Stone, all of Kennett; other relatives and many friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Mitchell Gamble; a brother, Michael Stone; grandmother, Virginia Lee Brumbaugh and a great-grandmother, Ethel Loraine Johnson. Funereal Services will be held on Sunday, October 18, 2020, 3:00 p.m. at the Powell Funeral Chapel in Kennett. Visitation will begin there at 2:00 p.m. Burial will be in the Oak Ridge Cemetery in Kennett. Powell Funeral & Cremation Services, Kennett in charge of arrangements.
