David Paul Sears, son of the late Cecil Sears and Patricia Garrett Sears, was born on Monday, November 7, 1955, in St. Louis and departed this life on Friday, May 23, 2025, at the Campbell Healthcare & Senior Living Center in Campbell. He was a sandblasting operator for many years. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather, who loved spending time with his family and grandkids. On February 25, 1995, in Campbell he was united in marriage to Lida Christine Long. She survives of their home in Holcomb. Other survivors include two sons, Joel Webb of St. Louis, Missouri, Joshua Webb of Kennett, Missouri; four daughters, Connie Webb Holland (Chris) of Carmi, IL, Brenda Kempen, Gracie Webb & boyfriend, Johnny Umfress, Krystal Redden; grandchildren, Hannah Umfress, Dacota Umfress, Oaklyn Umfress, Joshua Gargis, Christopher Casteel, Erik Casteel, Jacob Huskey, Jonah, Michaela Holland, Senekqua Holland, Jase Kasinger, Randy Cisco, Athena Rose; great-grandchildren, Kyle Gargis, Ryan Gargis, Emily Gargis, Bentlee Tarr, Zayden Tarr, Xzaver Tarr, Paisley Tarr, Waylon Tarr, Zarrah Holland, Blaklee Holland, Randy Cisco, several nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. Memorial service will be held at a later date. Powell Funeral & Cremation Services, Kennett is in charge of arrangements.
