David Franklin Hurst, Jr., son of Nan Finley Houchins, was born on Wednesday, May 5, 1976 in Kennett and departed this life on Wednesday, June 24, 2020 at his residence in Kennett at the age of 44 years, 1 month, and 19 days. He had worked as a construction laborer. David enjoyed hunting and fishing. Survivors include: mother, Nan Finley Houchins of Kennett; sister, April Beaird & her husband, Rick of Holcomb; nephew, Zach Beaird & his wife, Krista of Kennett; niece, Katie Beaird of Holcomb; many cousins, other relatives and many friends. He was preceded in death by an aunt, Treasu Duke. Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, July 1, 2020, 2:00 p.m. at the Calvary General Baptist Church in Kennett.
