David Garrison Clewis, son of the late Richard and Doris Peters Clewis, was born on Friday, August 16, 1940 in Racine, WI and departed this life on Monday, May 11, 2020 at his residence in Rives, MO at the age of 79 years, 9 months and 25 days. On December 25, 1960 in Georgia, he was united in marriage to Peggy Goff. He worked for Bibb Trucking of Hornersville and was a member of the Bakerville Church of Christ. Survivors include his wife, Peggy Clewis of the home; daughters, Marcia Lashell Morris and her husband, Brian of New Port Richey, FL, Vicki Lynn Prickett and her husband, Darin of Lutz, FL; grandchildren, Ashley Kaye Carter, Zachary Hiram Kelley, Cody & Ryan Prickett; great-grandchildren, Devon Nathaniel Thomas, Jason Fredrick Carter, Jillian Bella Jones; sisters, Alma Clewis, Doris Ann North, Hazel Dell Heyton; other relatives and many friends. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, May 15, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. at Powell Funeral Chapel, Kennett. Visitation will begin there at 1:00 p.m. Burial will be in Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Kennett.
