Darlene Nunnery

Darlene Nunnery, daughter of the late James and Mary Sikes, was born on Friday, September 6, 1957, in Waco, Texas and departed this life on Wednesday, December 20, 2023, at Piggott Community Hospital in Piggott, Arkansas at the age of 66 years 3 months 14 days. Darlene had worked as a truck driver, along with her husband. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She was united in marriage to James Eugene Nunnery, Jr. He preceded her in death on June 6, 2017. Survivors include daughter, Connie Nunnery Trout & her husband, Mike of Bragg City; sisters, Sherry Sikes of Arkansas & Mary Harber of Tennessee; seven grandchildren and one great-granddaughter, other relatives and many friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, James & Mary Sikes, her husband, Paul Eugene Nunnery, Jr., two sons, John Nunnery & Paul Nunnery, III and a brother, Jim Sikes, Jr. Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
