Daniel Boyd Purigraski, Sr.

Daniel Boyd Purigraski, Sr., son of the late Lazar Purigraski and Rosa Hughes Purigraski, was born Saturday, June 1, 1946 in Kalamazoo, Michigan and departed this life on Monday, February 24, 2020 at his residence in Steele at the age of 73 years, 8 months and 23 days. He was united in marriage to Carol Wilkins on April 1, 1970 in Phoenix, AZ. He retired as the Human Resource Director of Lucent Technologies, Inc. He was a veteran having served in the United States Air Force. Survivors include his wife, Carol Purigraski of the home in Steele; a son, Daniel Boyd Purigraski, Jr. & his wife, Lisa of Phoenix, AZ; daughters, Cindy Purigraski of Hornersville and Tammy Thomas Purigraski of St. George, Utah; 5 grandchildren and 5 great-grandsons. He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, David Purigraski and a sisiter, Linda Herzog. A Celebration of Life is being planned for a later date.
