Curtis Eugene Kemp, son of the late William Kemp and Rhonda Click Green, was born on Monday, June 13, 1966 in Memphis, TN and departed this life on Friday, August 20, 2021 at his residence in Kennett at the age of 55 years, 2 months and 7 days. Curtis Eugene Kemp was employed at the Graves Kennett Gin as head ginner. On January 28, 2000 in Holcomb, Missouri, he was united in marriage to Rebecca Thompson. Survivors include his wife, Becky Kemp of the home in Kennett; sons, John Curtis Kemp and Anthony Wyatt Kemp, both of Kennett; daughter, Kara Kelly of Kennett; grandchildren, Kamryn and Elydia Kelly, both of Kennett; mother, Judith Kemp of Holcomb; brother, Brandon Kemp of Holcomb; sisters, Krysti Miller of Birmingham, AL, Judy Thompson & her husband, Michael of Holcomb; other relatives and many friends. Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, August 28, 2021, 6:00 p.m. at the Powell Funeral Chapel in Kennett. Visitation will begin there at 5:00 p.m. Powell Funeral & Cremation Services, Kennett is in charge of arrangements.
