Coranell Cumpton Brock

CoraNell Cumpton Brock, 81, of Kennett, MO passed away peacefully surrounded by family at St. Benards Medical Center in Jonesboro, AR on January 18, 2024. She was born on July 25, 1942, in Kennett, MO to Clettus and Annie Pruett Cumpton. She had recently expressed her readiness for the Lord to call her home. Those prayers were answered just in time to celebrate her husband’s birthday in Heaven. CoraNell is survived by 4 children, Dennis Brock of Arbyrd, MO, Kim (Rocky) Walters of St. Pauls, NC, Jeff (Tori) Brock of Kennett, MO and Ron (Melanie) Brock of Senath, MO, 2 sisters, Diane Davis (John), and Nancy Purdom (Ted), and an abundance of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Donald Earl Brock, her infant son, Robert Allen Brock, 2 brothers, Marvin Cumpton and Jackie Cumpton, and 2 sisters, Joyce Rankin and Judy Hinchliff. Funeral Services will be held on Sunday, January 21, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. at Powell Funeral Chapel in Kennett, MO, with Reverend Wayland Tom officiating. Visitation will begin at 1 p.m. and continue until time of the service. Burial will be in Senath Cemetery in Senath. Honored to serve as pallbearers are: Austin Brock, Jay Brock, Jeremy Brock, Kody Lyles, Logan Williamson, and Tommy Brock. Powell Funeral & Cremation Services, Kennett is in charge of arrangements.
