October 30, 1947 — April 29, 2025

Cora Lee Pulliam, aged 77, of Kennett, MO passed away on Tuesday, April 29, 2025, at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, TN surrounded by her loved ones. She was a loving and devoted mother, a cherished grandmother, and a dear friend to many. Cora was born in Clarksdale, MS on Thursday, October 30, 1947, to Jimmy & Eula Mae Whitfield. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Jonathan Pulliam, one son, Michael Taylor, and one daughter, Alicia Jones. Cora lived a life filled with love, laughter, and kindness. She was known for her beautiful smile, caring nature, and her deep faith in her God, Jehovah. Cora was baptized as one of Jehovah's Witnesses on September 17, 1995. She served as a regular pioneer for more than 24 years. She loved sharing her faith with others. She was well known and respected for her dedication and hard work for her family and her God. She left a lasting impression on all who had the privilege of knowing her. Cora will be dearly missed by her children: James Whitfield of Kennett, MO, Dajuanna Williams-Jones of Kennett, MO, Jerrard Long of Dyersburg, TN, Anthony Pulliam of Cape Girardeau, MO, Donna Weeden and her husband Wayne of Kennett, MO, Belinda Taylor and Lucy Taylor of Kennett, MO, and Larry Whitfield of Jackson, MS; her grandchildren, Arron Whitfield and his wife Chrystal, Justin Whitfield and his wife Kourtney, Raven Adams, Tatyana (Shay) Green, Emoni Jones, Walter Webb, Jr., Harleigh Long, Grayson Long, Jerrard Long, Jr.; her great-grandchildren Dylan Walton, Jase Whitfield, Caylan Whitfield, Haylen Whitfield, Arryn Whitfield, Justin Whitfield, Jr., Jaxon Whitfield; extended family and friends. She touched the lives of many and will be remembered fondly for her kindness and compassion. Cora is now sleeping peacefully in Jehovah's memory. And we look forward to the day when we can welcome her back with open arms in a beautiful, perfect new world. Revelation 21:4- "And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away." A memorial service will be held on Sunday, May 11, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 2009 Ely St., Kennett, MO 63857.
