Charles Leonard Jarrett, son of the late George Washington and Medie Lenore McClure Jarrett, was born on Friday, January 3, 1941 in Red River County, Texas and departed this life on Friday, May 15, 2020 at the age of 79 years, 4 months and 12 days. Survivors include a son, Martie Jarrett and his wife, Sharon of Paragould, AR; daughters, Linda Jarrett of Spring, TX, Elizabeth Marek of Houston, TX; 12 grandchildren, many great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren; brothers, Robert Jarrett of Clarksville, TX, James Jarrett & Roy Jarrett, both of Paris, TX; sisters, Berniece Ward, Georgia Day, Ann Struck, Shirley Davison, Murel Kuyava, all of TX, Joyce Nelson of Oklahoma; long-time companion, Nell Peaslee of Clarkton, and her children, Tim Pinkston, Susie Lyons & her husband, Ronnie, Tammy Remariz and her son, Matthew Trudell and his wife, Chelsea and their sons, Max & Mason; other relatives and many friends. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 16, 2020, 11:00 am - 12:00 pm at the Powell Funereal Chapel, Kennett. Powell Funeral & Cremation Services, Kennett is in charge of arrangements.
