Bruce Dewayne Sams, Sr., son of the late Albert Sams and Christine Jewel Mann Sams, was born on Tuesday, March 19, 1957 in Hayti, MO and departed this life on Wednesday, March 3, 2021 in Kennett at the age of 61 years, 11 months and 12 days. Survivors include sons, Bruce Dewayne Sams, Jr. & his wife, Erica of Hayti, MO, Randall Gilmore of Hayti, MO; daughter, Candice Egbert & her husband, Jeffrey of Caruthersville, MO; 10 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild; brother, Wallie Sams & his wife, Vicki of Kennett; sisters, Shirley Terrell of Cabot, AR, Patricia Sams of Alabama, Lois Henderson of Olive Branch, IL; other relatives and many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Gary Sams & Clifton Ray Sams, Sr. and a sister, Susie Patterson. Memorial Service will be held at a later date. Powell Funeral & Cremation Services, Kennett is in charge of arrangements.
