Brenda Payne Westmoreland

Brenda Payne Westmoreland, daughter of the late Alvin and Iva Payne, was born on Thursday, July 6, 1950, in Risco, MO and departed this life on Tuesday, July 16, 2024, at her residence in Carriere, Mississippi at the age of 74 years 10 days. On August 10, 1968, she was united in marriage to Michael (Mickey) Westmoreland. He survives in their home in Carriere, Mississippi. In addition to her husband, she is survived by two sons, Michael Westmoreland & his wife, Ann of Tucson, AZ and Jason Westmoreland of Carriere, Mississippi; a daughter, Mary-Beth Westmoreland & her husband, Josh of Carriere, Mississippi; a bonus daughter, Kacey Klingel of Vanduser, MO; five grandchildren, Brayden Westmoreland of Tucson, AZ, Rilen Summers of Poplar Bluff, Stevey Klingel, Dani Boese, of Vanduser, MO and Jaxson Westmoreland of Carriere, Mississippi, other relatives and many friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Alvin & Iva Payne, two brothers, Herbert Ritchey and Robert Ritchie and a sister, Ruth Ashley. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, July 23, 2024, at 12:00 p.m. at the Catron Baptist Church of Catron, Missouri with Reverend Mike Kitchen officiating. Visitation will begin there at 11:00 a.m. and continue until the time of service. Burial will be in the Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield.
