Brenda Sue Casteel

Brenda Sue Casteel, daughter of the late Clarence Casteel and Billie Jo Kelley Casteel, was born on Sunday, March 9, 1958, in Hayti, MO. and departed this life on Tuesday, October 17, 2023, at NHC of Kennett at the age of 65 years 7 months 8 days. Brenda had been an employee with Twin Rivers Medical Center in Kennett in the Human Resources Department. Survivors include a son, Ryan Sawyer & wife, Holly of Kennett; 7 grandchildren; brothers, Barry Casteel & Michael Casteel, both of Doniphan, MO; sisters, Joann Sanders of Kennett, Margaret Jones of Kennett, Barbara Godair of Kennett, Rena Ruminer of Doniphan, other relatives and many friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and brothers, Clarence & Larry Casteel. Memorial Service will be held on Friday, October 20, 2023, at 5:00 p.m. at Powell Funeral Chapel in Kennett. Powell Funeral & Cremation Services, Kennett is in charge of arrangements.
