Bobby Charles Abbott, son of the late Wayne Abbott and Helen Tyson Abbott, was born on Thursday, July 6, 1961 in Kennett and departed this life on Wednesday, April 7, 2021 at his residence in Kennett at the age of 59 years, 9 months and 1 day. Bobby Charles Abbott had worked as a mechanic. He was united in marriage to Brenda Cunningham. She preceded him in death on September 9, 2000. Survivors include daughter, Keri Abbott of Bragg City; step-sons, Kevin and Aaron Treat, both of Benton, KY; grandchildren, Kayla Treat, Patience Abbott, Kamille Wellington, Sebastian Wellington; brother, Gary Abbott of Houston, TX; sisters, Patsy Vaughn of Kennett, Doris Furlow of Senath; other relatives and many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, a brother, James Abbott, sisters, Barbara Sewell, Sue Holloway, Betty Abbott, Phyllis Brown and Shirley McCracken. Funeral Services will be held on Monday, April 12, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at Powell Funeral Chapel in Kennett. Visitation will begin there at 12:00 p.m. Burial will be in Horner Cemetery in Hornersville.
